Possibly one of the weaker factions of Hammurabi, the Europeans are a catch-all people who are loosely based on the ÚnÄ›tice culture (covering mainly northern and central Europe) and is part of the European sphere of cultures in Hammurabi alongside the Thracians, the Dardans (in the Balkans and possibly southern Italy) and the Euskaldunak (whose range reaches probably across all of Spain, the British Isles as well as the West of modern France).

Of all European cultures, the Europeans themselves may not be very lucky because they are fairly backward, being capable mostly of recruiting some poor cavalry along with some bronze-armed infantry, but otherwise missing out on the more heavily armoured Chariots and Guardsmen of the late game. Equally, they too do not have access to European Spearmen, thus their selection of mercenaries is exceedingly poor - in return, however, Europeans have Warlords who aren't just resistant to melee attacks, but are also are capable of stealth, thus making any attack on an experienced European player a highly difficult endeavour. The Europeans also are capable of raising Swordsmen, which are highly useful as an anti-infantry, anti-building unit. This too is aided by the Europeans' access to Armed Caravans and Armed Merchants, which aren't just tougher and capable of doing damage, but are also slightly faster as well (a set of units shared between the Europeans and other factions, most notably ElamYamhad, Lukka and Shang).

Use psychological warfare against your opponents, using your stealthed Warlords to support your units and to confuse the enemy, striking at key undefended points whenever the opportunity to do so poses itself. Don't be too afraid to lose a few units here or there — the ability to extract Wealth from Mines and receive "life insurance" payments on the death of your units provides you some leeway in how you deploy your armies, as inferior as they may be in comparison to other factions', such as the Thracians or the Babylonians.
