Hailing from the mountains of Cappadocia, the Naharin are some of the known world's greatest breakers of horses, and their prowess at horse breeding and training shows.

Naharin cultural bonuses are ideal for the budding empire builder, who seeks to conquer vast territories, as well as profit from conquest: the larger the territory that falls under Naharin control in any scenario, the greater their Food output. Food is a fundamental resource, being used for researching Administration, as well as building up your armies to carve out even bigger empires to begin the process anew.

Naharin Corrals spawn Hurrian Scouts for free, while they have instantaneous access to the Hurrian Warlord, which is in effect a true chariot warrior, unlike the Horse Raiders or Onagers that other factions must depend on. At this time, the Naharin cavalry -- dominated by heavily armoured Hurrian units -- is probably by far the most powerful faction amongst all Middle Eastern factions, thus making it a powerful contender if not the sole one against the other Middle Eastern power, the Elamites. Equally, the Naharin hordes are near-impervious to Attrition, thus making them highly effective raiders and conquerors. This helps them greatly, especially when it comes to replacing their losses especially since Naharin unique units are known to be very valuable and not easily replaced.

A usual Naharin game usually involves Horseman spam, very much like a Scout rush from Age of Empires (the game, not the mod) in which Corrals are constructed en masse, preferably as part of a forward building tactic which then is supplemented with some infantry, and possibly a Patriot too (the Tyrant works best for this strategy) to knock out an enemy's food supply as quickly as possible, before he or she can respond back, eventually allowing you to seize more land and resources for investment into the powerful units that will eventually form your late-game units - maryannu and shukuthlu.
