A lot of stuff in The Unravelling is derived from other mods, we will not reproduce anything from their pages here.

BUILDINGS

The Unravelling mainly uses Bronze Dawn's building and tech system, with the following changes:

  • Only Bhuvauri and Harimari factions (Harimraj, Sarnavan) may build Imperial buildings from Chronicles. The Dojo is reserved exclusively to Harimraj, but the Eunuchs' Court is absent.

  • Castles make a comeback but only for certain factions - most Cannorian and Elven factions are the likeliest candidates.

 

UNITS & HEROES

Like the Fall of Nations series, heroes are an important part of The Unravelling, even as it is noted most mainstream units are based mainly on Castle Age units from Chronicles (viz. Knights, Light Cavalry, Javelin Cavalry & Swordsmen, Spear Sergeants and Crossbow Infantry for most Human nations). Gunpowder units do exist, but Arquebusiers are absent, having been replaced instead with Handgonne units from The Southeastern Dragon.

 

Heroes of The Unravelling are drawn mainly from the events of the Greentide, thus we have the following:

  • Korgus Dookanson, Orcish warlord and reigious leader.

  • Corin, Escanni warrior. Head of the so-callled "Corin's Circle" and martyr. Fell in battle with Korgus Dookanson.

  • Arosha Oakbreaker, Orcish warrior.

  • Brasur Frozenmaw, Orcish warrior.

  • Lothane Bluetusk, Half-Orcish warrior.

 

Other possible characters:

  • Summermoon Twins, a pair of heroic Elven warriors.

Hero units in The Unravelling are recruited chiefly from the Senate, but some others can come from other buildings, ie Temples, City Watch Guilds, and so forth.

The meat and the potatoes of every game. There are upgrades for various functions in Hammurabi, yet resource gathering upgrades aside, the most important track probably is Logistics due to the lack of Supply Wagons. Some upgrades are required to access certain unit, particularly ships.
